If this happens on occasion, you would want to get this checked out by a gynecologist. However, no matter what anyone says, if it is affecting your quality of life (soaking pads or tampons very frequently, causing you to be lightleaded or dizzy due to amount of blood loss, etc.) - and you are the only one to make that determination - please get it checked out. It's better to go and see the doctor to rule out any potential problems and set your mind at ease. And if there is a problem, you know you've caught it early. Let us know how you do.
