I would get her checked out, I am not a DR, just a mother myself. I had very heavy bleeding after the birth of my son and it can last up to six weeks, but I never had bleeding this much. (as in a pad every 15 minutes!)....I was STRONGLY advised not to use tampons so soon after giving birth.....Please urge your cousin to go to her DR. This does not sound `normal' although it might be for her, as everyone is different!

I wish her luck, and she is lucky to have someone who cares so deeply about her....good luck...
