Problems I'm encountering since Total Hysterectomy

In Oct. 98, I had emergency surgery which included a total hysterectomy d/t 2 large masses growing out of control in my pelvic area, adhesions and damage to both ovaries, fallopian tubes and uterus. I never fully recovered from that surgery - always had pain & pressure in pelvic area. My doctor was monitering my health & ordering pelvic ultrasounds approx. monthly and he told me that I had a post-op infection that would take months to go away. No mention of anything growing! In March 99 I ended up in Emerg - it seems that some of the ovarian and fallopian tissue had been left in from the Oct. surgery and had developed into another pelvic cyst (grapefruit in size) and had attached itself to my left ureter causing it to compress and block which in turn affected my kidney. I was again operated on and another gynecologist removed this mass, lots of scar tissue and adhesions. The ureter was saved and the kidney has no permanent damage. I am now 6 weeks post-op and have just had another ultrasound. It has revealed that I again have a small cyst in my pelvic region - I sort of thought I might from the pressure and pain I have been experiencing that is so similar to that which I had between Oct. 98 and March 99. My question is - can anybody tell me why I am growing cysts and what I can do about this situation? I do not want to go through another surgery and would like to fix this problem while the cyst is small.
