Where oh where could my period be?From: Laurie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 28 Apr 1999 03:21:36 -0500 (CDT)
I went off the pill on February third, had a shorter than usual, extremely light "period" and have had nothing resembling menstruation since. I did a couple HPT's recently after suspicious symptoms like sore nipples, mild cramping, nauseau. Both tests were negative (a week apart) and those symptoms have slowly subsided. When I went off the pill, my NP said the average number of months for most women to resume their normal cycles was around two months. She said anywhere up to six months would still be considered normal. My problem is that I have had nothing except for the mild symptoms that led to the pregnancy tests. Nada. When should I worry, if at all? 6 months? Thanks,
-- Laurie
