sexual desire

I am 37 and have always lacked a desire to initiate sex. Once I am aroused its OK, but I am very restrained (only certain positions, never crying out, etc). My question is, could this be a medical thing, hormones, thyroid, etc., or psychological? I take Lo-Ovral, but it was like this before Lo-Ovral. Are there any gynecologists trained with sexual dysfunction issues in the Houston, Texas area, that could take my blood and analyze it?

Conversely, should I be pursuing this with a sex therapist? This issue has put a lot of strain on my marriage. We have two small kids-Please advise.
