Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: Urethral Syndrome" I have been diagnosed with Urethral Syndrome. I take Motrin and Pyridium every day. I feel like I have a UTI, but the doctor said my culture is negative. I have uthrethral burning all the time and lots of discomfort. Is diet at all related to this condition? Also, is it possible that a prior infection has done damage to my Urethra? Is it possible that I have an infection that is now showing up in the tests? I just finished a round of Keflex 500 MG. and Cipro, but I still have symptoms!
