Pre term labor signs

I am currently 30 weeks pregnant. All the pre-term warning sign lists I have seen mention pelvic pain or pressure as a possible warning sign. I have also heard that rectal pressure can be a warning sign.

How do you tell the difference between the normal pelvic aches and pains of pregnancy from the type of pressure/pain that may indicate early labor? How do you tell the difference between rectal pressure from needing to have a BM from pressure due the baby?

I've been a lot more uncomfortable this past week, but I don't know how much is normal and what I should be concerned about and report to my doctor. It hurts my tailbone, pubic bone, and other parts of my pelvis when I walk, roll over in bed, or stand up. I feel like I shuffling along like an old lady. Is this just normal "growing" pains?

Thanks, Andrea EDD 7/7
