Hormone replacement-problemsFrom: Anne (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 17 Apr 1999 11:25:36 -0500 (CDT)
I was on Lupron prior to a Supracervical Hyster. 2 years ago. He also had to take one ovary. I started taking Premarin right after to supplement my estrogen, until the Lupron was out of my system , and had problems with nausea and vomiting. He then put me on a low dose Climara Patch for about a mo. and I did well. Well, I am 49 and in Menopause ( have symptoms and proper hormone testing has been done). I am on the higher dose of Estrace. Each A.M., I am experiencing nausea and vomiting. Is this usually dose related or could it be related to the type of hormone one is on? I take it in the evening with Prometrium(I have a small am't of endometrial tissue and adenomyosis). Any suggestions- better time to take these meds? Does time sometimes help with a decrease in symptoms? Thanks, Anne
