You're right! I don't know what led me to believe it wasn't. I, also, do not suffer from a latex allergy, so I am lucky enough not to worry ...

Yes, that and I believe that doctors are afraid of too many unsanitary patients who may not clean the device (and themselves) appropriately.

That is great to know. Mine are fairly irregular, but my biggest problem is heaviness and cramping. I think I may go to the doctor and have them check for endometriosis. Thank you so much for your help! I'm going to order one and try it, maybe alternate with it one month, tampons the next, just to see if I notice a difference. I'm not as eco-conscious as some of my friends here in Austin, TX, however, I don't mind doing my part. Especially if I get something in return :>
