Dorothy >Dorothy: I had the same surgery and was told those symptoms are impossible -- since I had one ovary left. Well, it went on for months and I just felt awful. Unlike anything I had ever experienced. I finally found a dr. who BELIEVED me -- immediately put me on 2 mg day of Estrace and after weeks I finally started feeling like myself. My conclusion is that the usual ob-gyn is are not educated in this area. They are not aware that a loss of one ovary can cause such a reaction. My symptoms were so severe and did not improve much with time. I left my standard ob-gyn and went to an ob-gyn who is a "menopause managment" specialist and received state of the art treatment. I was soo glad I did. Good luck!
