Please Help! Pap resultsFrom: Barb (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 9 Apr 1999 16:37:08 -0500 (CDT)
I had a pap in Feb. Results sent from dr. office was normal. Had a endometrial biopsy 2 weeks ago and when asked dr. why this was being done she stated ultrasound showed slightly thick endometrium and abnormal pap. Endo biopsy report she states was normal. Finding a new dr. and requested copy of chart. Results of last pap from feb. shows pap smear, cervix: benign. Reactive squamous metaplasia. What is reactive squamous metaplasia. Also states adequacy: satisfactory. Endocervical sampling seen. What does that mean? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. The sooner the better!!!
