Abnormal Vaginal Bleeding / The PillFrom: Robert (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 9 Apr 1999 00:53:16 -0500 (CDT)
My wife is currently taking, im not sure of the spelling, but I believe it is called elesse/28, as our contraceptive. She has been on it for at least a year straight, and has not experienced any side effect. This month however approximately a week after her last period she began bleeding. The blood fluctuated between thick and thin, like a regular period, with small a amount of discharge. She swears that it can't be the pills because she has been on it for so long without side effects. Simply my question is, is it mostly the medication and should we look into switching, or should we be alarmed. She had not experienced any pain, but a little nausea. Thank You,
