Re: ANNE MINKE: Re: Two ectopic pregnancies in the same tube: how come? From: anneminke (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 7 Apr 1999 12:48:50 -0500 (CDT)
Dear Poet, When I had my second ectopic it was also discovered that I had a septum (a thick 'wall' that divided my uterus in two halves). In December '97 this was removed by hysteroscopic surgery. When I had fully recovered we had an IVF-treatment in March/April '98, which failed. Our doctor insisted that we try another IVF but... much to our surprise, in August I discovered I was pregnant, just before we would have started the treatment! Nature turned out to be smarter than the doctor! (She took her loss with a big smile, though!) I do hope you'll be as lucky as we are!
