To answer your question about "diastolic and one is systolic can't
remember which one measure the amount of pressure it forces against the
vessels.".....
Diastolic is the Resting presure as in Between heart beats. The
Systolic is the actual reading as the blood is pumping. Just thought
you would like to know
Readings of 120/70 are listed as Systolic first; Diastolic second
numbers.
