back pain and twitch in leg related to chemo or other?

Angela,

In response to your post of yesterday, through my own experience (with invasive cervical cancer), i had a radical hysterectomy, followed w/ radiation, then later an oopherectomy and apendectomy just recently. I have experienced some of these same things you are mentioning....the lower back pain/hip too sometimes, the twitch in leg...same as you described and tingling at times as well (this all actually started occuring previous to my recent oopherectomy, etc.)during this recent surgery no more cancer was found throughout my pelvic area ....all of which was tested. So, i guess i would say don't be too worried about it. It may be due to treatments and/or surgery you've had ...atleast i believe mine is - i know it's not from new cancer. But,as we know, everyone's body is different...and you have to trust your gut...so if you feel the need to get a scan this may ease your mind - or dig around to find other women who have had similar experiences - this may be more common than we think(?). Once you have cancer, it never leaves your mind...and i know how difficult it is to wonder what's going on every time something "acts up" within our bodies. Good luck!!!
