Hello Sheree: Best of luck on your surgery! THis is something new for you, so of course you are nervous. It is totally normal. Remember that when you are out of surgery the nurses are there to help you, and they will! I had my abdominal hyst two years ago and I still remember how good the nurses were to me. Try and go about your daily routine and get a decent sleep tonight (I know, easier said than done!). A very important thing to remember is to get up and walking after your surgery. It'll be slow going at first, but believe me when I say that each day will be easier than the one before. It amazed me at that time! Please keep us posted when you get home, and you have a Happy Easter as well!
