depending upon the evaluation, there are several different surgical repair techniques for cystocele (bladder) repair. Some are vaginal and some are abdominal. the rectocele repair has many different proponents for different repair techniques as well. More is coming out daily from the new subspecialty of urogynecology. BT|W, isn't there a new section on OBGYN.net for Urogynecology?

Sorry for this but it depends upon the skill of the operator, the technique selected and how well it suits the particular problem. Usually many, many years.
