If it is of any help to you - I stopped my periods in the middle of surgery 10 years ago - was put on premarin and provera - but never spotted til recently when I had a vaginal infection due to dryness - the following pap showed endometrial cells. They said it was due to low hormones due to age and shock to system during surgery.
