pelvic sonogramFrom: b (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 30 Mar 1999 16:25:56 -0600 (CST)
I am 27 years old. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for a little over a year. We have both been to the doctor. He has a low sperm count and possibly a variococle. Upon my recent visit to the doc, all of my tests came back normal except for a pelvic sonogram. My doctor said she felt some "pelvic fullness" and sent me for the sonogram. According to the sonogram (and the nurse) everything looks "fairly normal" except for some abnormal tissue in my uterus which could be left over from my last menstrual period. My doctor is an Internist and she set up an appointment for me with an OBGYN. Any way, after the long scenario, I guess I am a little anxious about the sonogram results. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the abnormal tissue could be or could mean. Thank you!!
