Dear Doctor:

I am just wondering if the menstrual cycle is referred to the interval between the two beginnings of the adjacent two periods? Also I wonder to know when is the most possible time for pregnancy after unprotected intercourse. I knew it's in the midway between two menstrual cycles but I don't know if it is calculated from the beginning of one periods of after that.

I am looking forward to your answer. Please give a reply as detailed as possible. Thanks for your help?

Have a nice day!

Sincerely, xin dai
