If you have indeed had your period, pregnancy is unlikely. Most likely stopping the pills has thrown your cycle out of whack. A simple urine pregnancy test should rule out pregnancy, but can only be done with a late or missed period. Once you know for sure that you are not pregnant, you can resume the pill if you chose with this period, or the next.
