Re: Adhesions? Let me tell you about mine...

Helen, I can't believe that your, my, and Toni's adhesions are SO
similar--- how can so many physicians be out of the loop on this? Like
you, I've seen plenty of doctors, and once I found out about adhesions,
asked them if that could be what was causing my pain. One LAUGHED,
another said, "Absolutely not." and gave me samples of Tums. And these
were reputed to be great doctors. The first time this doctor (who did
the lap)did a pelvic on me, he said my uterus was turned to the right.
My cervix was also PLAINLY deviated to the right. How can other doctors
be so BLIND?? I feel so much better (aside from the fact I'll never have
children), but I am SO angry that it took ten years to get treatment AND
validation when the surgeon who did my appendectomy SAW the adhesions.
I have my video, and I wouldn't have believed the extent of the
adhesions if I hadn't seen them myself. I also have all my medical
records, including the ones from the lap. I will ALWAYS get a copy of
my records every time I exit a physician's office.
