3 miscarriages and getting discouragedFrom: Tracy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 22 Mar 1999 08:00:39 -0600 (CST)
I have had 3 miscarriages in the past year, all occurring somewhere around week 6. After my 2nd miscarriage, I began to consult with an RE. He has done so many tests: lupus anticoagulant, APA panel, thyroid, testing for infectious disease, HSG, and chromosome tests. All tests have come back normal. We have one more test to do, an endometrial biopsy to check for LPD. I'm very discouraged since the most recent MC occurred while I was taking Clomid, supplemental progesterone and baby aspirin. Is this bad luck?? I have one son with no complications in the pregnancy. Should I try some of the more expensive immuno tests and therapy (LIT, Ivig). My RE doesn't believe in these, but I'm wondering if I should give it a try? Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated.
