I had an LAVH hysterectomy a year ago and it took a good 6 weeks to really get my energy level back up to near 100%. I too am a Type A and at times it was very frustrating to have so many things to do and no energy to do them. Take things slowly and easily, try to set your goals to accomplish a few things each day instead of disappointing and frustrating yourself by trying to do everything. Recognize your body's need for time and rest to heal properly and in the long run you will be much better off. Take care of yourself.
