Marna,

Thank you for the reply. First, the nurse at my RE's office said that they would draw blood on either day 1-3 of my period. She also said that they would do an ultrasound one of those days to check for cysts. We are also going to do a IUI.

When I took clomid before I was given both estrogen and progesterone supplements. Should I expect this? Is it necessary with the I have PCO and Mild Endo. I have taken clomid before for 7 month with a regular OBGYn and he did 3 IUI"s and those didn't work. I have been pregnant before and conceived naturally (without drugs 2 years ago). I have not been able to get pregnant since I had the mc.

Since I am new to the injectibles I was wondering if there is a standard protocol. I good am confident in my RE I know he is a good physician. I have been asking him questions but I also want to get additional input on the situation. I want to make sure I am as informed as possible on all avenues ( that is why I posted to the forum). I was just wondering what I should expect and appreciate your input.

One other thing is that I have been taking metformin for insulin resistance and treatment of my PCO. I am excited about this. I have had more energy and I have had regular periods but I have not gotten pregnant yet. Many of my Re's PCO patients have conceived with the help of the metformin treatment alone. It has not worked for me. I am a litte disapointed that it has not worked for me in that maner.
