Nearly all BCP's are helpfull in women with acne. With BCP (except pills with norgestrel as progestagen) sex hormone binding globulin increases and this SHBG binds androgens. So less androgen is available for the skin. However, low androgen means a higher risk on loss of libido. So the best pills for acne are bad pills for libido. But most pills are good for acne and have no measurable effect on libido.
