Advice needed!

Hi...I haven't posted to this board before but I could sure use some advice...since May of last year I've had continuous dysfunctional bleeding and have had two d&c's, two hysteroscopies and a laparoscopy (the last d&c, hysteroscopy & laparo just this past March 5) in search of endo, which isn't in evidence. Reproductively, I seem to be healthy except not ovulating. (I'm 31 and this all started last May after I had a tumor removed from my bladder.) My gyn, who is a resident at a teaching hospital, but basically a very good physician, wants me to go on yet another variant of the pill (norgestimate/ethinyl estradiol - whatever that is)because I am not ovulating and this is to regulate my periods. Anyway, I am having a really hard time psyching myself up to try yet another course of drug therapy; I've tried so many and the side effects are rotten. I am afraid if I *don't* try this one my physician will be upset with me, which I can understand - I don't want to seem uncooperative. On the other hand, every time I think of starting this, I get upset because of the side effects of other hormone therapies I've had in the past and my anxiety level skyrockets. If anyone has any advice, please post or email me. I know this may seem rather silly, but it's really bothering me and I've no one to ask, as my gyn is on vacation. Thanks!!!
