After surgery (LEEP) health concerns

I had no problems with the LEEP. However, I had a sinus infection within three days afterwards. I have many allergies and lots of sinus drainage all the time. I took Sulfa and had a reaction to it. Stopped taking it after three days. Sinus infection was gone. Dizziness which started two days after the surgery intensified and is still very bothersome. Still have some "bounce back" from the reaction--such as nerve sensitivity, my skin "not fitting", itching. I have such fatigue that I can hardly move on some days. On the days that I feel good, I have my normal energy but pay for it for two days afterwards.

I saw a doctor last week and she said it would take time for everything to work itself out. The dizziness was probably left over from the anesthesia and perhaps my head was tilted back during the surgery, causing fluid build up in my ears. My ears look clear now she said. She thought I was also fighting off a flu or cold.

I'm having a hard time working at home or at work. Should I be searching for more answers or will it just take time? If I have to have this done again, will I have to go through all the dizziness too? I trust the doctor but I want to make sure I am doing everything I can do to help myself. I just got married last June and my husband is taking this whole thing pretty hard and is very worried.

Can you help me?
