Hi Kim,

If you continue to have pain after, is it constant or cyclical? Is it localized or all over? I have also had a complete hysterectomy and both ovaries removed. One ovary was removed at the time of the hysterectomy, the other about 1 1/2 years later. About 5 months after the last ovary was removed, I started to get pain like I did with ovulation (mittleschmirtz). Also, I would get cyclical pain on the area where I had endo. My Gyn found that I have an ovarian remnant. Apparently they are not very common, but they can cause problems. I take a high estrogen birth control pill to try and help decrease the cysts I have on my ovarian remnant, but the pills tend to decrease my estrogen levels to post-menopausal levels. No one knows why. If you still have endo have they tried birth control pills or lupron?

These are all just suggestions, I am not a doctor and these are just my opinions. This may not be the cause of your problem, but it is something to consider if you still have problems.

Good luck! D.N.
