Should I consider taking progesterone supplements? I hope that you have seen your doctor, and that you will have an early ultrasound by 7 weeks or so. Unless you have previously been proven to have a low progesterone level when not pregnant (also called a luteal phase defect), then supplementation generally isn't warranted. However, some people feel that it has little downside, and prescribe it just in case it might help. Garry no private emails.
