since having a hysterectomy in 1996 for adenomysosis, I have had non-stop pain in my abdomen beyond the 3rd month (I felt great for the first 3 months). since that time I have had nothing but problems with elimination, swelling in my abdomen, and PAIN!!!! The dr's have taken out my gall bladder - which didn't help (there was nothing wrong with my gall bladder...); i was told i had Irritable Bowel Syndrome...baloney!!!I never have diarrhea - i am just always constipated and have a very specific area of pain on my right side by the cecum; i have had barium enemas, a sigmoidoscopy; and a recent day surgery to remove adhesions which were everywhere... my pain and swelling has become even worse now after only several days of feeling great (normal)after the last surgery this past Jan...my active lifestyle has ceased to exist!! especially my personal life - whaddya know? Laurie also can send to soccermom@f-a-s-t.net p.s. I am getting married again soon after a nine year hiatus (not a hiertal hiatus) and would really like to get this worked out!!!
