I have been on Triphasil 21 for almost 2 years now. I am a healthy 25 year old and this was my first birth control pill. Over the last two years my hair has decreased it's thickness by about 60%. My family Dr. seems to think it is the triphasil to blame. I am very happy otherwise with this pill but am also a vain woman who does not want to have thin scraggy hair. I used to have a good head of hair but now it is thin and unmanageable. I am considering going off the Pill for 6-8 months to see if this thickens my hair. My questions to you are these: Will going off the pill increase my likely hood of my hair thickening up again? Will going off the pill create any disturbance to my body after being on it for a length of time ie acne, mood swings etc.? Do you think if I were to continue on Triphasil my hormones might adjust and my hair will come back? As you can see I am struggling with alot of pros and cons to staying on and going off! Your answers and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely M Moore
