When my abdominal pain got really bad, my doc did a lap and found that my appendix was "bad"; after he removed it my symptoms lessened some. My question to you is--how uncomfortable is a barium enema? I was supposed to have one, but I chickened out because I hurt so bad I couldn't imagine anyone sticking anything in me. But I know the doc still wants to do it to rule out colon problems. Any advice you'd share would be great.
