I don't know what you can take while pregnant, but check with your doctor about Claritin and Zyrtec. Both of those start to take effect in about 40 minutes. Claritin is not as strong (for me) as Zyrtec, but Claritin has almost no side effects. Zyrtec makes me a little drowsy, but it is a life saver for me. I would be using an inhaler if not for the Zyrtec. Good luck! Ann
