I too took accutane almost 10 years ago. I used a combo pill...Lo-ovral(Nordette) and had no problems with it causing any further outbreaks. It was one of the few pills I tried at the time that didn't make the acne I had any worse. You'll be AMAZED at what a wonder drug accutane was/is. I suffered cystic acne for 13 years before finally resorting to accutane and made an ENORMOUS difference. Now, almost 10 years later and 3 healthy kiddies...I am still enjoying clear skin...skin like I haven't had since I was pre-pubescent.
