pregnancy after myomectomy

About 1/2 year ago I had a myomectomy (abdominal): one fibroid of 11 cm size on top of my uterus going deep into the uterine wall but the uterine cavity had not to be opened. I am adviced in case of pregnancy to deliver by primary c-section. How strict is this advice or is there a chance for me to deliver naturally? Is such pregnancy after this surgery a so called high risk pregnancy/delivery? thanks for any contribution. Simone - Germany
