2 ectopics==looking for answers from docs and others experiences

Hi,

Im now almost 3 weeks post lap for removal of 2nd ectopic. First was 9 years ago, and doc left the tube in, 2nd my obgyn thinks was in the same tube, but not positive.

results of hsg: uterus normal, right tube open and flushing freely.

results of lap: removal of left tube and pregnancy, minimal bleeding into abdominal cavity, left ovary intact

so basically I have both of my ovaries and only my right tube, I had PID as a young child and I want to know why my obgyn keeps saying i should try pregnancy on my own... i never got pregnant for nine years from what she says "is a completely normal tube, the tube looks PERFECT both visually (from lap) and because its open with the HSG" and instead got pregnant from the scarred one.

I am wondering a couple of things: 1) how long should i wait before attempting pregnancy again 2) what are the chances of ectopic after having two in the same tube 3) why does she keep saying my tube is perfect when i was under the impression one can't see internal tube defects through visualization or HSG? 4) what tests can i do to see if my right ovary ovulates (one of my suspicions since i never get pregnant on that side is that it doesn't ovulate)

thanks.. i know this is a repost but my ob sent a message to the infertility doc saying i dont need her services so im looking for some general advice from other docs and women who have had the same thing happen to them

thanks a lot!! kooleii
