There are a number of possibilities in the differential, but the most important questions boil down to just 2. Is there really and truly no uterus or ovaries, and if there are not, then what is your daughter's karyotype (chromosomes, like with an amniocentesis). Once these questions are answered, then the other concerns, such as recontructive surgery, hormone replacement, and so on begin to fall into place. Since she does have at least some vaginal opening, she is unlikely to need reconstructive surgery, though she may have to perform some dilation exercises in order to have enough vagina for intercourse. Good luck. If you would like, I would appreciate any additional information that you might care to give as the info becomes available. This is a rare problem, and you would be contributing to my knowledge base.
