Re: Ovulation test kits?

Angela,

You get 5 tests in a box. The tests look very similar to home pregnancy tests. They test for LH (luteinizing hormone), which usually surges within 24-48 hours of ovulation. If you are irregular, this can get expensive. One kit costs about $20, and you can test for 5 days. But if you do not have an LH surge in those 5 days, then you have to get another kit and start again. I hope this helps. I am about to start using an ovulation predictor kit because I am so irregular, I have no idea when I am ovulating. Good luck to you!
