Bad pain under right breastFrom: Lou (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 26 Feb 1999 18:21:30 -0600 (CST)
I saw basically the same question posted in the pregnancy-birth forum, but no one has answered this woman and I have the same complaint. I am currently 31 wks. pregnant w/my 2nd child and ever since my 26th wk. (give or take) I have been having this burning, painful sensation under my right breast only. It went from mild and only being bothersome at the end of the day at 26-28 wks., to constantly there and very uncomfortable (29 wks. to now). I had mentioned it to a "visiting doctor" and she said it was just normal pregnancy aches and pains. Then, I read it could be a symptom of pre-eclampsia. I plan to mention it to my regular OB/GYN at my next visit, but I do wonder what this could be and is there anything I can do to help relieve it? This pregnancy has been uneventful w/the exception of dialating at 29 wks. and I never had this burning sensation w/my first pregnancy. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Laura
