You just are asking questions you don't have answers to.

My RE tells me if it makes me feel better, I can lay quietly with a pillow under my hips for about 20 minutes, then go about my regular routine.

The liquid you see is not sperm in ejaculate, it's semen, which carries sperm, which are microscopic. When a couple has intercourse, semen/sperm is deposited next to the cervix, where sperm travel through.
