NEITHER of these positions is tenable. **** I would recommend that you get a second opinion from another doctor, then come to a decision. I always used to welcome a second opinion. If your doctor refuses this, get another doctor who does not have such a big ego. A physician worth his/her salt should welcome a supporting or opposing opinion.
