adhesions on the bowelFrom: Toni (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 24 Feb 1999 08:01:22 -0600 (CST)
If they can remove, resect the bowel to remove endo, why can they not do this for adhesions? I am so concerned that the adhesions on the large and small bowel are going to cause me furhter problems. For someone to have adhesions and they DO hurt when you can actually feel them pulling on the intestines, feels so costricting at times I cannot move or straighten up. Feels like a large band around my stomach, I wish they could find SOMETHING to help the sufferers with this problem, instead of saying IF you obstruct, you obstruct, and they you are a surgical emergency. after twisted bowel killed my mother, it is normal to feel this way, gangrene set in and they tried to save her life by operating on her 3 days each surgery was SIX hours long, and she was brain dead after 3 days, THIS is my concern!!!! PEOPLE WITH ADHESIONS NEED HELP!!! Toni
