**** Many babies can be turned by maneuvering the infant from outside of the abdomen. With the fetal monitor going this is a safe procedure. It works about 80% of the time. I searched the archives, but didn't find answers to these questions. (The questions and answers I found were more about alternative methods of trying to turn the baby.)
