The bleeding then stopped but started again right after my two week post-op appointment. I then had continuous light to heavy bleeding from two weeks post-op until 10 weeks post-op. What was really strange for me was it got heavier with clots on the dates I would have had my period. My OB-GYN thought the cause of it in my case was granulation tissue. He treated me with an application of silver nitrate at my six week post-op appointment but I didn't finally stop bleeding for another four weeks after that. I hope this helps.
