Re: TUBAL LIGATION ADVERSE EFFECTS...pms, heavy cramp & bleeding, menopuase.From: Angel (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 22 Feb 1999 21:08:40 -0600 (CST)
I'm 31 and had a tubal when I was 25. I had my tubes cut, tied, burnt, clampped and thrown out the window after my last c section. I suffered severe pain every month for a couple of years but it wasn't from my tubal but from a cyst on my right ovary.I had heavy bleeding, clotting, cramps, pelvic and back pain, painful intercourse. I had a TAH/RSO (Total abdominal hysterectomy with right salpingo oophorectomy)on 1/22/99 and also found out I had severe scar tissue from 2 c sections. I'm 4 weeks post-op and I have no pain I still have my left tube and ovary. My GYN said my tube and ovary was in great shape. Cindy there could be many reasons you are having problems every month. Do what I did if you feel something is wrong see your GYN and ask for an ultrasound. I firmly believe a woman knows when something is wrong as I did. All I can tell you is to seek help. Good luck
