Breech BabyFrom: Monica (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 22 Feb 1999 13:26:28 -0600 (CST)
I am 29 weeks pregnant and think my baby is breech, or possibly lying cross-ways. When can a doctor usually tell just by feeling which way the baby is positioned? At what point in the pregnancy have most babies turned if they are going to? This is my third baby, and I think I remember the other 2 being head-down before now. How does the doctor go about trying to get the baby to turn? I searched the archives, but didn't find answers to these questions. (The questions and answers I found were more about alternative methods of trying to turn the baby.) (I didn't see anything addressing my first two questions.) Thanks.
