Previous message: Sandy: "Endo on ultrasound...repost" Hi I am thinking I need to have another lap after 2 laparotomies last year, I have had a lot of pain and discomfort almost all the time! Even though I have seen pain clinic and the gyn is trying to find relief that way, but adhesions are all over the bowels in sept during lysis of adhesions after a laparptomy 4 moths later, i went back in for surgery in sept. i asked my gyn if he would do lap if I continued to have pain, and that was in Nov. Now he is afraid to do ANY surgery, cause even second opinion says that if I continue to have surgery, they could eventually pierce the bowel, and I would be at high risk for bowel injury, and end up losing part of the intestines. I do not know what to do. i also read pst about ONE adhesion on a ladies bowel almost killed her, THAT is what KILLED my mother 3 years ago! I am scared of this!
