This month I have been experiencing spotting after intercourse. My last Pap smear was 1 year 5 months ago, and was normal, as were the previous few. I just went in for my annual one last week and am waiting on the results. During the exam the doctor said everything appeared normal. This month has been unusual for me, though. Last month I completed a round of Gonal-f, the injectible fertility medication. It failed and I am not pregnant, and I've been forced to sit out this month because I developed 3 ovarian cysts from the medication. I'm hoping they're gone by next month so I can try again. This whole cycle has been unusually long, and has felt different than my normal cycles. Could some hormonal imbalance caused by the cysts be causing this spotting? I am worried sick that it's cervical cancer - could this happen in a year and a half with everything appearing normal?
