unlicensed OB

I am 35 weeks pregnant and I have just found out through the "Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure" that one of the obstetricians in the OB group I am seeing is not licensed. I never would have questioned her competence, but in the last week I have heard a few unsettling accounts of her ability. I have seen her just once at this clinic and I thought she had a very poor bed-side manner, but I was willing to give her a chance. I have spoken with a doctor in another clinic (because I want to change clinics) who assures me this doctor is quite capable and "is licensed" because she would not be able to practice in Kentucky without it. Where do I go from here to find out if she is a "real " doctor? She has been in Kentucky for a while, so it's not like she's waitng to get her license.

Thank You, Mrs. Owens
